Draw in Al Fresco diners with commercial pizza ovens and barbecue equipment

Commercial Pizza Oven

The hospitality industry is facing a tough time right now but with people keen to get back out to enjoy restaurant food the signs are positive – and al fresco dining will help to keep customers at their ease.

If you have the space, seating diners outside while maintaining social distancing is generally easier and it certainly helps calm the fears of customers.

With the peak time of the summer holidays here this could be a good time to invest in an al fresco offering at your restaurant that will serve to draw in new customers in the current climate – and keep them coming back in years to come.

Outdoor pizza ovens and barbecues are always popular – there is just something undeniably enjoyable about tucking into simple but tasty food in an outdoor setting.

Already very much on trend, if you haven’t already invested in outdoor commercial catering equipment now is a good time.

Adding al fresco dining to your commercial kitchen

While making an outlay on new equipment may seem a little daunting right now, if you can afford to look ahead it should prove to be a sound investment.

Outdoor living is going to popular certainly throughout 2020 but will continue to be so. We only need to look to the popularity of festivals and street food to see how al fresco living and dining strike a chord with the British public.

Of course, one of the major issues facing al fresco dining is the UK is the weather, but with careful consideration it is possible to create a year-round outdoor space with commercial catering equipment within it.

Make an all-weather outdoor area for year-round Al Fresco dining

Do you have a courtyard you can add a canopy to? Why not install a glass awning to provide rain cover for outdoor diners?

Install outdoor heaters and offer diners blankets to make sure they remain toasty while enjoying food from the barbecue or pizza oven.

Gazebos have also been popping up more regularly at restaurants and pubs, helping to control queues when ordering and making outdoor dining easier – some pubs are even adding outdoor bars.

Freshly cooked pizza straight from an oven will never go out of fashion, so make sure your diners can enjoy this whenever they want.

Likewise, the appeal of barbecued food stretches way beyond the summer – bonfire night and the festive season show just how much appetite there is to enjoy hot food in the great outdoors.
